Congratulations to the Horse Shoe Inn on winning the Cork City Challenge Cup for the first time with a 3-2 victory over the Harp {2} in the final at Ardmanning House on Monday, May 10th., 2010.

The Harp Bar {1} won the Shandon Plate at Ardmanning House on Monday, May 10th., 2010, with a 3-2 victory over the Brown Derby {2} in the final.

On Monday, June 14th., a cheque for 500 Euro was presented to Fiona Heffernan of the Saoirse Foundation who do tremendous work for the families and sufferers of Batten's Disease.

The money was raised from a collection made by CDPA members at the recent Denis McGrath Memorial Singles Championship at the Deanrock Lounge Bar in Togher.

The Annual General Meeting of the Cork Darts Players' Association will be held at the Deanrock Lounge Bar, Togher, Cork, on Monday, September 6th., 2010, starting at 9.00pm.
All registered members from last season are invited to attend.

A qualifying competition for the 2010 Killarney Darts Festival will be held on Monday, September 13th., at the Rock Bar, Gillabbey Street, Cork, starting at 8.30pm sharp.
This competition is confined to CDPA members from last season.
The qualifiers on the night will be entered in the Gleneagle Irish Masters and the John McEvoy Gold Dart Classic at the INEC/ Gleneagle Hotel on the weekend of October 16th./ 17th.
The entry fee is ?10.00 per player and the closing date is Friday, September 10th.

Ardmanning House in Togher closed it's doors on Thursday, May 27th., 2010, and brought an end to a 'Golden Era' of Cork Darts.
The Ardmanning was known as the 'Home of Cork Darts' and had been hosting darts events for almost thirty years.
On behalf of the CDPA best wishes are extended to John Delaney and his wife Patsy on their 'retirement' and we wish to thank the management and staff for their support and generous sponsorship throughout those 'Golden Years'.
