Cork Darts Players' Association
Timmy Ryan from the Rock Bar hit the first maximum of the season at Redmond's GAA Club on September 12th.
Gary Condron and Terry Barrett now top the leader board with six maximums apiece.
John Kidney and Eric Dunlea are level with five in joint third place.
73 x 180's have been recorded to date.
Players are reminded that they should ensure that 180's are recorded on the score sheets at league matches and on the draw sheets at CDPA tournaments.

The league stage of the Mahers Sports/ Unicorn 5-a-side League will be completed on Monday, February 6th., and play-off matches will be arranged at neutral venues on Monday, February 13th.
The semi-finals and finals of Divisions {1} & {2} will be played at the Deanrock Darts Arena on Monday, February 20th.
The semi-finals and final of the Jerry Quinn Memorial Trophy {Div.3} will be played at the Harp Bar on Monday, February 27th.
Stephen is Champion
Stephen O'Leary {Tory Top} won the 24th. Annual Tom O'Sullivan Memorial Singles.
He captured the title with an exciting 4 - 3 victory over Gary Condron {Abbey Tavern} in the final.
A separate Ladies' Singles was also held at the venue with Kay O'Carroll retaining the title with a 3 - 0 victory over Michelle Gould in the final.

TRAMORE 25
2012 will be the 25th. year of Tramore Festival Darts and to celebrate the occasion O'Shea's Hotel will be giving one lucky darts player a Week's Holiday for Two People at the beautiful Cristian Sur Apartment Complex in Los Cristianos, Tenerife, with flights and accommodation paid for.

The Evergreen Bar retained the Michael Fowler Memorial Trophy when they defeated the Harp {2} 3 - 2 in the final of Division {1} of the Mahers Sports/ Unicorn League at the Deanrock on Monday, November 21st., 2011.

Forde's Bar won the Liam Downey Memorial Trophy with a 3 - 1 win over the Tory Top {2} in the final of Division {2} of the Mahers Sports/ Unicorn League at the Deanrock on Monday, November 21st., 2011.

It was a great occasion for the local players in the Deanrock Bar as they captured both the Division {3} League and Shield titles at the Deanrock on Monday, November 21st., 2011.

CYSTIC FIBROSIS FUND-RAISER
Build 4 Life was founded by friends and family of Cystic Fibrosis Patients in Cork and Kerry.
The aim of Build 4 Life is to:-
Raise Awareness of Cystic Fibrosis in the region
Raise over 1 million Euro to develop Ireland's first dedicated Cystic Fibrosis treatment unit within Cork University Hospital.
The CDPA supports this fund-raising venture and we are requesting our members and teams to help in any way that they can.

ALL TEAM MANAGERS must text match results after the matches to 087-4171287.
This message is still no getting through to the 'Usual Suspects' !
A small improvement again with 20 of the 30 teams complying with this rule.
WINNING TEAMS are responsible for returning completed Score Cards before 9.00pm on the Wednesday after match.
Teams failng to comply with this rule will be fined and points WILL be deducted for any subsequent offence.
Points Tables cannot be updated if teams do not comply with rules.
All Score Cards were returned on time for Round {3} - Excellent, lads, keep it going.
The Annual Cork Charity Cup Doubles was held at the Deanrock Darts Arena.
40 Food Hampers were purchased from the proceeds and were delivered to the needy and elderly before Christmas.
Congratulations to the winners, Terry Barrett and Noel McCarthy {Abbey} and sncere thanks to everybody who supported the event.
The Annual General Meeting of the Cork Darts Players' Association was held at the Deanrock Bar, Togher, on Monday, September 5th., 2011, and the following committee was elected for the upcoming season :-
President : Jimmy O'Connell
Chairman/PRO : Michael O'Sullivan
Secretary : Noel McCarthy
Treasurer : Chris Collins
Stage Manager : John Hadlow
Committee : Mark Willis, Gary Stanton, Christy Kerstien and Benny DeLuca
Team managers are requested to note the following CDPA rules - -
" Any player who is a member of any other Darts League or Association or who competes with a team or as an individual in any other Darts League or Association shall be ineligible to be a member of the CDPA "
" The CDPA shall implement a Code of Conduct for it's members and supporters at all competitions and events under it's jurisdiction and disciplinary action shall be taken against any member or supporter found guilty of bringing the sport of darts into disrepute "
The onus is on Team Managers to ensure that their members and supporters comply with CDPA rules.
